Glossary
The vocabulary IRISYS uses, the way your planners use it.
- Order proposal
- The quantity IRISYS suggests ordering for one SKU in one store, before validation.
- Service level
- The share of demand served from stock over a period, per SKU, store or network.
- Coverage
- Days of forecast demand covered by current stock plus stock in transit.
- Safety stock
- Extra stock held to absorb forecast error and supplier delay at a target service level.
- Transit warehouse
- Goods in transit between the central warehouse and stores, deducted from the need (« DI » in Sage).
- Lead time
- Days between purchase order and receipt, computed by IRISYS from real deliveries.
- MAPE
- Mean absolute percentage error, the forecast accuracy measure tracked per SKU and store.
- Tester
- A unit used for demonstration, allocated at order validation and excluded from sellable stock.
- GWP
- Gift with purchase, a promotional item ordered with a campaign and tracked separately.
- ABC classification
- Ranking of references by revenue, margin or volume into A, B and C classes.
What supply chain directors ask us first
Two to four weeks for a Starter or Professional network with one ERP connector. Week 1: connection and data quality check. Week 2: forecast calibration on your history. Weeks 3 to 4: order proposals in parallel with your current process, then go-live. Enterprise deployments with two connectors and data migration take six to eight weeks.
Sales history from your ERP, ideally 12 to 24 months, at SKU × store × day or week level. Current stock by warehouse, open purchase orders, the item master with brand and category, and the supplier list. Everything comes from the ERP; nothing is retyped.
IRISYS uses comparable products (same brand, same category, same price band) and a launch ramp that you can adjust. Once the new reference has a few weeks of sales, the model switches to its own history.
Sage 100cloud is in production today. Sage X3, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP Business One and Oracle NetSuite are handled through the integration hub. Any other ERP can be connected through scheduled CSV / SFTP imports or the REST API. SAP S/4HANA and other systems are quoted on request.
Each client has its own database, and a client-dedicated instance is available. Access is protected by roles, MFA and SSO, and every action is written to an audit log. Backups run daily.
English, French and Arabic, with full right-to-left layout for Arabic. Each user chooses their own language.
On-site training in Dubai and across the region, remote for other cities. Support in French, English and Arabic, in your time zone. Priority support with a 4-hour response time is available as an add-on.
Monthly subscription per store network, from 800 USD per month. A free 30-day pilot runs on one or two stores with your real data. Annual contracts get 15 % off. There is no multi-year lock-in.
